1 clove garlic & 2 Tbsablespoons olive oil (to brush the toast)
OR ready-made garlic butter to apply on each bread slice
To make Guacamole mix for topping:
2 tomatoes, medium chopped
2 avocados, medium chopped
1/3 cup finely chopped onion
¼ cup chopped cilantro
2 Tbs lime juice
½ teaspoon salt & ¼ teaspoon black pepper
METHOD: (12-15 servings) Cook time 6 min
2.Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
Note: (Alternately, you may not apply garlic butter on bread slices, instead toast them plain as given below & later just rub them with cut side of garlic clove & then brush with olive oil before topping them with Guacamole mix) Tip: If slices are big cut them into half.
4. Toast the sliced bread in the oven for 3 minutes, then flip each piece over and toast an additional 3 minutes.
(TIP: Use left over Guacamole as dip for nacho chips. Slightly mash the avocado pieces with fork. )
Tip: Serve in a white plate to bring out the colors of the dish :)
