Here is my simple recipe for suji halwa!!
Ingredients:
Suji or semolina (fine): 1 cup
Sugar: 1 cup
Water: 3 cups
Ghee: 3-4 Tablespoon

Ghee: 3-4 Tablespoon
- METHOD: Take ghee in a non-stick karahi & add the suji. Keep stirring at medium heat.
- In a saucepan, add water & sugar. Let it heat to dissolve the sugar. Keep it aside.
- Keep roasting the Suji till its medium brown.
- Pour the sugar/water solution into the suji carefully; It may splatter, so reduce the flame & keep stirring. The mixture will begin to thicken.
- Once it thickens & becomes homogenous, shut off the heat. Grate Almonds or cut them finely. Sprinkle on top. Also, add grounded cardamom for added flavor (optional). If you like, you may add raisins too
