Cancún, is the most exciting place for all looking for some fun at the beach & exciting nightlife. Its a Mexican city on the Yucatán Peninsula bordering the Caribbean Sea, known for its beaches, numerous resorts and nightlife.
It’s composed of 2 distinct areas:
1. El Centro (downtown area)
2.Zona Hotelera(a long, beach front strip of high-rise hotels, nightclubs, shops and restaurants, mostly crowded with tourists).
Most resorts on the strip facing ocean are All-inclusive & maybe expensive for many like us. Instead, we stayed in a beautiful lagoon side resort "CORAL MAR" (non-inclusive, free wifi) on Pok-ta-pok Golf area on a strip connecting to the only main road Kukulcan Blvd, leading to Zona hotelera area. The view of lights across the lagoon was wonderful with sandy area to laze around & a grrt bar. Many resorts are there to choose from...Just go on any travel site to search for hotel that suits your needs.

Trip to ISLE MUJERES
Isla Mujeres is a Mexican island in the Caribbean Sea, 13 km off the coast from Cancún. Visit this link to find out about ferries that carry passengers & cars as well. http://www.islamujeres.info/planning/ferries.asp
It's a great destination known for beaches such as northern Playa Norte, resort hotels and for snorkeling and scuba diving on the surrounding coral reefs. At Punta Sur, the southern tip, there's a lighthouse, the remains of a Mayan temple and a sanctuary for sea turtles.
