Herbal solutions for sinus:
DRINK good herbal tea or turmeric powder milk;
Method: Make tea (without milk) by adding cloves,cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper, tulsi leaves (with or without) and boil for a good amount of time in water. Boil for a good amount of time so that the juices go from the spices into the water. You may add ginger piece too. Longer you boil, better it will be.(about 8- 10min). Add honey for sweetness. This herbal tea helps to clear toxins, mucus etc and soothes the throat.

TIP FOR A DEEP PERSISTENT COUGH!!!
GARLIC OIL MASSAGE of feet:
1. Peel and crush the whole garlic cloves.
2. Put them in a jar & pour olive oil, almost filling it to the top, leave room so there is no mess with the lid.
3. Let the jar sit in a warm place for about 20-30 minutes for garlic to mix well with the oil OR place the jar in a container of hot water on the stove for 15 minutes to warm it. This will help garlic to infuse into the oil.
4. Use this garlic oil to massage it into the feet of the person suffering with stubborn cough. Yes, put the oil on the feet and it will end up in the lungs where a deep cough originates from. This method helps to give relief from cough.

Ginger is very good for irritating cough. Just take 1/2 inch of juicy ginger & keep it between your chewing back teeth. Keep chewing to get relief from coughing.
Herbal Tea: Rich in enzymes and antioxidants; helps to get rid of allergy cough. The most effective teas are black tea and chamomile. Make black tea, add a splash of lemon juice to help release the herbal tea’s natural healing enzymes, & a tablespoon of honey to lubricate your throat. Drink slowly and feel your cough burn away.
Garlic Syrup: Garlic is a powerful immune-booster. It is very effective against nasty bacterial, viral and fungal infections. To prepare the garlic cough syrup, chop a few cloves of garlic and put them into a mason jar. Completely cover the garlic with honey and let marinate for at least 24 hours. Take a tablespoon of the syrup in the morning and whenever you feel the urge of a cough coming along.

What should I take if I have a sinus headache?
Ans: Allegra-D or NSAIDs:
The best treatment for a sinus headache is an antihistamine with sudafed such as Allegra-D, Claritin-D or Zyrtec-D. This often relieves the symptoms in 2-4 hours. For more immediate treatment NSAIDs like Motrin or Advil are helpful. For chronic sinus headaches, you should see an ENT speicialist to determine the cause. Nasal steroid sprays and Neilmed Sinus Rinses can help too.
