Ingredients: Paneer (350gm), onions, tomatoes, ginger/garlic paste, or fresh grated ginger, curd/cream (optional)

5 EASY STEPS: (serving 4-5 people)
1. Take Paneer/cottage cheese & cut into cubes or rectangular pieces.
2. Fry 2 grated/grinded onions & little ginger-garlic paste in 2 tbs oil & 2 bayleaves, 2-3 cloves plus cardamom pd.
3. Add fresh grinded tomatoes (4-5) to the roasted onions & keep stirring for 5 -10min. (You may use ready-made tomato paste too)
4. Add all spices (Red chillie pd, Coriander pd, Shahi paneer pd, Garam masala, salt to taste & some crushed kasturi methi) Stir some more & then add about 1-2 cups water along with 1 spoon corn starch or cornflour for smoother gravy. Simmer for sometime till it smoothens & thickens. (optional: add 1 T beaten curd or cream)
5. Add the paneer pieces to the gravy & let it simmer for 5-7 min. till they absorb the spices & soften. At this time you can add little beaten curd or some cream for texture, taste & lighter color.
