This is a small exotic island, one of many islands of the Caribbean, belonging to the US, located in the northeastern Caribbean, east of the Dominican Republic and west of both the United States Virgin Islands and the British Virgin Islands. It was inhabited by Spanish when Columbus first arrived here in Nov, 1493 & named it San Juan Bautista. Spanish forts & colonies can be seen here. San Juan fort is the most visited fort by tourists., overlooking the vast blue ocean. Many flights connect directly to San Juan from Miami, Florida or Dallas DFW airport (about 4 hrs) etc.
Above is SAN JUAN FORT built by the Spanish voyagers during 1493, when Columbus first arrived. Its a well kept fort giving beautiful views of the ocean.
THE YOKAHU OBSERVATION TOWER at El Yunkee rain forest. Amazing view of mountains & ocean from top of the tower (see the above pic) See the video below to enjoy the nature in this rainforest. Many trails are there for you to hike. Must take the Big Tree trail leading to the La Mina falls where people enjoy swimming & jumping in a pool of cold water of the beautiful waterfalls.
The coastline stretches for miles & is lined by all the best hotels.

This is the world famous Arecibo observatory, a site for world's largest single-dish radio telescope. The Facility consists of approximately 10,000 square feet of building and outdoor space. It offers a beautiful view of the 305-meter radio telescope.
