Cruise through the Norway's Fjords & walk on the glaciers!!
A very famous fjord is Sognefjord; it is very centrally located at the heart of Fjord Norway, where the best routes between Bergen, Oslo and Trondheim meet;(only a 2-3-hour drive from Bergen, 4-5 hrs from Oslo and 5-6 hrs from Trondheim). It can be reached by plane from Oslo or Bergen, or by bus or train. Best is to drive there by car & witness amazing scenery on the way. You can stop in between to take wonderful pictures of fjords, mountains & greenery.
Driving is the best way to admire Norway's raw beauty. Clouds hanging over mountains, beautiful cottages on hill slopes, green carpet grass, beautiful small churches on the way, & blue waters of the deep fjords will delight your senses and give you joy.
My trip to Norway about 15yrs back was very memorable. I still remember the sweet smell of the crisp, cool air & the cloudy skies hanging low over the hill tops. As we drove through the countryside, I couldn't resist getting down from our car & running through the carpeted green grass. It felt so refreshing & peaceful.
Norway is one of the 3 northern Scandinavian countries. Its capital is Oslo, a bustling town with great architecture, big malls, & fancy shops. It can be reached by overnight cruise from Copenhagen, Denmark or from Sweden. It borders with Finland on the east side.

TRIP to GLACIER...beautiful scenery on the way!!
ENJOY "BLUE ICE GLACIER WALKS" at Nigardsbreen Glacier. we went in a cruise boat to the glacier area but it was so dangerous to walk up the slippery rocks that I gave up & just sat on the rocks mid way. The winds were pushing me but somehow I managed to cling on & enjoy the beauty of ice above & icy water below. Just one slip would have send me into the frozen waters. You really need courage & special shoes to climb up. See the video of glacier walk by some adventurous tourists.
Drive north from Oslo on to the SNOW ROAD shown below.
Snow Road: During winter months visitors can experience driving between tall walls of snow as seen below. Its a great adventure.
Enjoying myself next to melting glacier & icy water..still not feeling cold as you can see from my attire. Its refreshing & sunny!!
Above is the beautiful VIGELAND SCULPTURE PARK...a must for all tourist. The amazing sculptures of men, women & children will blow you out. The beautiful gardens around it (shown below) are heavenly to walk & relax. Good place to spent the day under the sun.
